Great location, close to supermarkets, waterfront, and main attractions
Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and powerful showers. Friendly staff who speak good English and provide helpful information
Limited wifi access in rooms, need to be near the living space for internet connection. Breakfast could be improved

The apartment was fairly clean and located near to the waterfront, lighthouse, cathedral, iguana park, and main shopping area as well as the airport. Its location was marvellous: within walking distance of Seafront.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the room at Casa De Romero. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with great water pressure in the shower. The location was convenient, close to the Malecon and good restaurants, although there was some street noise. we had a great value for our stay and would recommend Casa De Romero.

Accommodating and supportive staff, ideal location. Good service overall. The place is just next door to bus station, Guayaquil and the museums and the boardwalk along the river.
I loved the apartment though some things didn't work.

I had a great stay at this centrally located downtown hotel. the staff at Casa De Romero were really friendly and provided lots of useful information. the room was clean and comfortable, with hot water and breakfast included. the location was perfect, within easy walking distance of attractions like the malacon and iguana park. Plus, there was a clean kitchen and a big supermarket nearby. I felt safe and enjoyed my time here. cons: Nothing to be said about my stay here. 👍.

Central location, nice lounge area, breakfast was good
No outdoor space, slightly outdated the room we stayed in, windows didn't seal very well so there was a lot of traffic and outdoor noise!

Absolutely loved the feeling of Casa De Romero, with the decor and the furnishings. It felt like home when my sister and I arrived and during our stay with you, The staff were most helpful at all times, and could not do enough for us. We were close to all shops and parks. I will certainly recommend this as the place to stay when in Guayaquil! Thank you so very much. Regards Maggie Hartley

clean
expensive for what it is. Its a an apartment ¨modified as a hotel¨ We arrived at 1am from the airport and had to wait about 10 minutes for them to open the door. Hard to find because there is hardley any sign since the ¨hotel¨ is an apartment in an old building

Casa de Romero is a nice hostel in the center of Guayaquil. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable. Our air-conditioned triple room with private bathroom and balcony was good value for the money.
